The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

FSV UK received support within the SEED4EU+ program
Projects were submitted to the call for support within the SEED4EU+ program, in which the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, participates. Two projects in which Milan Ščasný from IES FSV UK is involved received support from the program, as well as one project in which Petra Koudelková from ICSJ FSV UK is involved and one in which Vilém Novotný from ISS and Jan Karlas from IPS are involved. Congratulations! -
Information about the staircase in Jinonice
The outdoor areas of the Jinonice Campus have been approved. Based on the approval decision of the authorities, the barriers were removed from the staircase at V Zářezu Street. Therefore, the staircase is fully operational. -

On June 21, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel handed over the appointment decrees to new professors. The Faculty of Social Sciences has two new professors: Ota Konrád and Tomáš Weiss. Congratulations! -
Alessandro Testa's book ranked in the Competition of high-quality monographs at Charles University
The book Rituality and Social (Dis)Order. The Historical Anthropology of Popular Carnival in Europe ranked 8-9. place in the Competition of high-quality monographs at Charles University. Its author is doc. Alessandro Testa, anthropologist and historian working at the Institute of Sociological Studies FSV UK. -
International staff week at FSV UK developed the topic of well-being at universities
Last week, from 12 to 16 June 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted the international Erasmus staff week, during which representatives of our foreign partners participated in various lectures and workshops. The key topic was the development of services supporting the mental health and well-being of students and employees at universities.
