The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • EUROPAEUM Policy Making Seminar in Brussels

    The EUROPAEUM is pleased to invite applications for Policy Making Seminar in Brussels. Successful applicants will be provided with free accommodation and reimbursed reasonable travel expenses. Deadline for submission of applications and abstracts is 16 April.
  • Golden Courses for Winter Semester 2022/2023

    Golden Courses for the best courses of the Winter Semester 2022/2023 according to the student evaluation were awarded yesterday. Congratulations to all recipients!  On Tuesday, 11 April 2023, during the Academic Senate FSV UK meeting, the Golden Courses were awarded to the lecturers.
  • Dean's Sports Day on 28 April

    Give your body some exercise at the Dean's Sports Day of the Faculty of Arts and FSV UK. It will take place in the UK sports complex in Hostivař on 28 April 2023 for the entire day. Registration needed.
  • AI technology in academic work at FSV UK

    AI can significantly contribute to the quality of teaching and the further development of academic work. However, there is also a need to clearly communicate the principles and limitations that arise from the use of AI technology for academic work. All related issues and potential risks – legislative, ethical, security and other – need to be carefully considered.
  • Kuciak: The Killing of a Journalist (movie with English subtitles)

    On April 11, from 7:00 p.m., there will be a screening of the documentary film Kuciak: The Killing of a Journalist at Hollar in room no. 215 (with English subtitles). The award-winning documentary deals in detail not only with the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová, but also with the consequences of this dramatic event, which caused the biggest protests in Slovakia since the fall of communism.
  • Call for applications for the POINT programme postponed

    The acceptance of applications within the spring call of the POINT program was postponed, the new deadline is 1 to 30 June 2023. The standard deadline of 1 - 30 April does not apply to this round.
