The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • One World Film Festival returns to cinemas

    The 24th Annual International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival will take place physically in 25 cities across Czechia from 21 March to 3 April. Prague audiences can look forward to the festival’s Prague dates from 23 to 31 March. The Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the supporters of the Festival.
  • IES students won the local round of the CFA Research Challenge

    On February 4, 2022, a team of four students of the Institute of Economic Studies, Jakub Bobysud, Matej Leško, Peter Palovič and Ondřej Rosický, won the local round (Czech and Slovak finals) of the prestigious international competition CFA Research Challenge, which is organized annually by the CFA Institute. 
  • FSV UK employees can apply for Erasmus+ Staff Mobility

    The International Office of FSV UK announced a call for the Erasmus + Staff Mobility for the period from April to June 2022 inclusive. The deadline is March 23, 2022.
  • prg.ai Minor reopens its doors to all AI enthusiasts!

    Top lecturers from four faculties of Charles University and CTU in Prague have joined forces in a unique inter-university programme to bring you the best AI classes under one umbrella. Applications are open until March 21, 2022.
  • LERU summer school for PhD students

    PhD students can apply for LERU (The League of European Research Universities) summer school which will take place from 4 to 8 July 2022. From the registered candidates, one will then be selected to participate on behalf of Charles University.  
  • French Film Evenings

    The Language Centre cordially invites students interested in French cinematography to French Film Evenings. Films will be shown in French with Czech subtitles. The projection begins at 6:45 p.m. at Pekařská 16, room 112.
