As part of strengthening academic cooperation with Taiwanese institutions, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University signed an agreement on student and academic mobility and research cooperation with the College of Social Sciences of the prestigious National Taiwan University.

Charles University has concluded agreement with the J. William Fulbright Commission, on the basis of which the possibility of partial financial support for a temporary academic/teaching position at any faculty or part of Charles University arises for American academics.

Charles University and the University of St Andrews have established a joint seed funding scheme with the goal of facilitating cooperation. The funding shall enable academic staff from all disciplines to identify complementary strengths, explore areas of synergy, and develop outstanding future projects in research and academic innovation. Out of a large number of Sylff Research Grant (SRG) applications, three proposals from Charles University students were supported, one of those is a doctoral student Johana Kłusek from IMS FSV UK with the project Traveling of Forsytes across the Iron Curtain: Domesticity as a Common Value of Cold War Societies.
