AI can significantly contribute to the quality of teaching and the further development of academic work. However, there is also a need to clearly communicate the principles and limitations that arise from the use of AI technology for academic work. All related issues and potential risks – legislative, ethical, security and other – need to be carefully considered.

On April 11, from 7:00 p.m., there will be a screening of the documentary film Kuciak: The Killing of a Journalist at Hollar in room no. 215 (with English subtitles). The award-winning documentary deals in detail not only with the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová, but also with the consequences of this dramatic event, which caused the biggest protests in Slovakia since the fall of communism.

During the International Studies Association (ISA) conference, Dr. Aliaksei Kazharski from the Department of International Relations, Institute of Political Studies FSV UK, received a prestigious Global International Relations Section Book Award for his new book Central Europe Thirty Years After the Fall of Communism: A Return to the Margin.
